Firefighters from across the area will go on strike twice in the coming days as a dispute over pension reform rumbles on.
Members of the Fire Brigades Union (FBU) will walkout for four hours, between 6pm and 10pm on Friday, and during the same period on Saturday evening.
The strike is a result of the Government and the FBU failing to reach agreement over pension reforms which would mean firefighters would not receive a full pension until they reach the age of 60.
Firefighters have already gone on strike on four occasions in recent months, with Suffolk Fire and Rescue putting contingency plans in place to cover the strike periods.
Members of Sudbury FBU picketed outside the town’s station in Gregory Street September.
