Missing teenagers found
A POLICE hunt for two teenage girls who went missing on Wednesday has been called off.
Paige Briers, 15, and Lauren Abbott, 14, were found safe and well in Colchester this afternoon (June 26).
Paige was dropped off at Great Cornard Upper School on Wednesday morning but disappeared soon after while Lauren was last seen at break time.
A police spokesman said: "Paige Briers and Lauren Abbott have been located in Colchester this afternoon and are returning home.
"Police would like to thank the media, public, Essex Police and British Transport Police for their assistance in this inquiry."
