Match in aid of trust fund

A CRICKET match to raise money for the family of a popular Hadleigh man who collapsed and died in Australia in January will be held on bank holiday Monday, August 27.

Hadleigh Cricket Club, in Friars Road, is hosting the inter-club 40-overs match, with all proceeds going to the Rix Trust Fund, which was set up following the death of Josh Rix, 23, to support his son Alfie.

The match will begin at 1pm and there will be a barbecue and licensed bar.
