A Long Melford man has been jailed for breaching a suspended sentence after stealing from a Sudbury store.

Sean Hunt, from St Catherine’s Road, was jailed for 10 weeks at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court last Tuesday after pleading guilty to stealing from the Co-op in East Street.

The 29-year-old had stolen two cans of deodorant along with milk powder for babies.
