A Halstead man who assaulted two police officers has been ordered to pay nearly £500.

Danny Lynn, from Holmes Road, pleaded guilty to two counts of assault on a Pc at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court last Tuesday.

The 23-year-old also admitted being drunk and disorderly in North Street, Sudbury, on December 1.

Lynn was told to pay £125 for each assault and £50 compensation.

For being drunk and disorderly, he was fined £75, ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a £25 victim surcharge.
