A man from Great Henny has denied drink driving.

Alan Perry, 39, pleaded not guilty to a charge of driving while more than twice the legal limit when he appeared at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

Perry had 91 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when driving in Friars Street, Sudbury, on March 22. The legal limit is 35mcg.

Perry will return for a trial on September 1.
