Lorry engine fire put out by crews

Firefighters were called into action after a lorry caught fire.

Crews from Sudbury and Long Melford were called to the A134 near Long Melford at around 8.30am on Saturday to tackle a fire in the engine of a HGV.

The fire was brought under control and the crews left the scene at 8.50am to return to their stations.
