Lavenham motorshow

FIVE hundred vintage and classic cars will be winding their way through leafy country lanes to arrive at Bridge Street playing fields in Lavenham on Monday.

The Lavenham Carnival, which includes the highly-popular rare breeds motorshow, takes place starts at midday until 5pm.

Steve Younger, who is organising the show on behalf of Sudbury Round Table, said: “The motorshow is massive and people come from far and wide to see so many cars from the turn of the century all gathered together in one place.

“This year we have put on a lot more entertainment, including a youth and jazz band, so we hope people feel they are getting a lot more.”
