An inquest into the death of a little girl who died after a collision outside her home in Hadleigh will be heard on October 9.
An initial hearing into Rosa Simon’s death was adjourned to allow more evidence to be collected.
The three-year-old was playing on her scooter on the pavement outside her home in Canterbury Gardens when she was involved in a collision with a vehicle. Rosa’s father, Paul, called it a “tragic accident”.
Police have not brought any charges against the driver.
More than 100 people attended Rosa’s funeral on Wednesday.
Rosa’s coffin was pink and decorated in musical notes in respect of her love for music.
The family have set up a Rosa Simon Music Fund which they hope will raise money in order to buy musical instruments for children’s groups and schools in and around Hadleigh.
