An inquest into the death of a Sudbury teenager, who died from his injuries after being involved in a car crash, will be opened today.

Ryan Noakes, 18, from Cats Lane, died at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge on April 22, nearly two weeks after he crashed his Vauxhall Astra in Springlands Way. The 18-year-old was a former Sudbury Upper School pupil.

The inquest is expected to be opened and adjourned, with a full hearing taking place at a later date.
