An inquest into the death of a man accused of sexually assaulting a child has been opened and adjourned.

Martin Knock was found dead at his home in The Row, Hartest, on February 10. The 49-year-old had been due to attend Ipswich Crown Court for the first day of a trial on the same day.

He had been charged with 12 counts of sexual assault on a child aged under 13 and four counts of sexual assault on a child by penetration. Knock denied the charges.

A full inquest will be held at a later date.
