Gritter crashes near Little Waldingfield

A road gritter crashed into a ditch on the B1115 near Little Waldingfield in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday).

The Suffolk County Council vehicle came off the road at around 1am.

A council spokeswoman said: “It hit a really bad snow blizzard and just came off the road. The driver is unhurt.”

It was reported to police at 8.45am and the vehicle will be recovered today.
