Children in Great Cornard have been taking on a project to create a 3D map of where they live.

Along with several other libraries in the west of the county, April was turned into MAPril at Great Cornard Library. Clare, Glemsford and Sudbury libraries also held their own Sunday craft sessions for children.

The aim was for children visiting these libraries during April to contribute their ideas and drawings and to add in important places in their town or village to create colourful 3D maps of the place they live.

Great Cornard’s design includes St Andrew’s Church and Thomas Gainsborough School’s new building.
