Get tips on saving energy

ADVICE on tackling rising fuel bills will be available from a Sudbury organisation later this month.

Sudbury & District Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) will be giving practical advice to people on ways to save money during Big Energy Week, which runs from January 16 to 21.

Ann Furlonger, manager of the Newton Road charity, said: “More and more people are coming to us for advice on how to spend less on their fuel bills.

“Through Big Energy Week, we want to tell people that help is at hand and that there are things they can do to cut their fuel bills.”

As part of the week, the bureau will also be handing out free light bulbs and energy saving tips from a stall on Market Hill on Monday, January 19.

To pick up an energy-saving leaflet, visit the CAB, or for more information go to www.bigenergyweek.org.uk.
