A photographer who has worked with legends including David Bailey has decided to put family before fashion with his new business.
Jason Eggby, from Milden, has spent the last 17 years travelling the world as a fashion photographer, producing work for glossy magazines and catalogues.
But the 44-year-old has now chosen to change direction and will be opening family portrait business Jump Studios, in North Street Parade, Sudbury, on Saturday.
“I have done lots of travelling, but just recently I did some work for a portrait company and I thought ‘I could do this myself’,” said Mr Eggby.
“The studio is very modern and funky, with bright colours, and it is not what you would normally expect.”
As well as a change in lifestyle, Mr Eggby, who began work as a photographic assistant in London, said the business was motivated by a desire to spend more time with his wife and three children.
“I used to be away a lot, but I want to be around them more,” he said.
“When I saw the studio, I jumped on it as it is a fantastic space. I think what I am offering is something new to Sudbury and people looking in through the window seem very excited about it.”
