A 62-year-old man from Hadleigh has been disqualified from the roads for three years for drink-driving.

Stuart Morris, from George Street, pleaded guilty to driving with 62 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court last Thursday. The legal limit is 35.

Morris, who committed the offence in Hadleigh High Street on December 5, was fined £750. He was also ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £75.
