Dad and baby threatened

POLICE are appealing for information after a man with a baby in a pram were targeted in an attempted mugging in Great Cornard.

The man, in is 20s, was pushing a five-month-old baby in a pushchair in Broom Street at 8.40pm last Tuesday.

After turning into Radiator Road, he was approached from behind by two men, one of whom threatened him while the other grabbed him on the shoulder. The duo then ran off into Broom Street.

The first man is described as being of very slim build and taller than 5ft 7in. He was wearing dark clothing, a baseball cap and gloves.

His accomplice is of stocky build and around 5ft 7in tall. He was also wearing dark clothing.
