A Sudbury bike shop stayed open all night to help support an all-night cycling challenge.

Torque bikes, based in Cross Street, stayed open to carry out any emergency repairs needed by the hardy cyclists who were riding from East London to the Suffolk coast as part of the Dunwich Dynamo.

The all-nighter on Saturday was the third time the shop has got involved in the event.

The challenge sees around 2,000 cyclists leaving Hackney at about 8pm, pedalling to Dunwich.

Sudbury sits at the challenge’s half-way point. Weston’s Cafe provided refreshments for the weary riders.
