Stoke College will host a national art exhibition showcasing some of the best young talent in the country.
The college, in Stoke by Clare, will be the setting for the Excellence of Youth Exhibition, an annual art exhibition of art by young artists.
The event, which runs from September 12 to 21, will showcase 15 extraordinary talents, as well as offering masterclasses and the opportunity to meet some of the exhibitors.
Matthew Hancock, MP for West Suffolk, is set to open the exhibition at a champagne reception.
The college is an independent school for children aged between three and 16.
“Our art department at the school is a particular strength,” said headmaster Matthew Parker.
“The children are very excited at the idea of seeing the work of artists not too much older than themselves and we know that it will be the catalyst for some very interesting creative projects within the school.”
The event is a fundraiser for two charities, the Teenage Cancer Trust and the 1415 Society, which raises funds to support the historic fabric and heritage of the site.
Just Imagine Foods will be running a pop-up restaurant at the exhibition.
