Money raised from Sudbury’s Christmas Tree Festival has been handed out.

Proceeds from the event, run by the town’s two Rotary clubs, topped £3,000 and six charities have been given £500 each.

Hillside Special School, Eden Rose-Coppice, Chilton Day Care Centre and the Friends of St Peter’s were presented with cheques at Newton Green Golf Club last week. Action for Children and Sudbury Newstalk will receive their share of the funds soon.
