DEMOLISHED: The garden wall in Cats Lane, Sudbury after a car went through it.

A passenger had to be cut free from a car after it smashed through a garden wall in Cats Lane, Sudbury, this morning.

The blue Mini, driven by a young woman and carrying three passengers, went into the garden of a house on the corner of Cats Lane and Kings Hill at around 4.20am.

Fire crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof and free one casualty who was trapped. Paramedics treated those involved for minor injuries.
