Up-and-coming musicians will be at Ormiston Sudbury Academy competing for a chance to perform at LeeStock tomorrow.

The school is holding a battle of the bands event from 6pm, with money raised going towards The Willow Foundation.

The winner will go on to open the festival, held at Melford Hall next weekend in memory of Lee Dunford.

“The Willow Foundation is such a good cause and the battle of the bands is a perfect way to commemorate Lee and his time at Sudbury Upper School,” said Leo Cox, the school’s music teacher.

The annual Lee Dunford Memorial Cup football match will also be held at Cornard United’s Blackhouse Lane ground on Saturday at 3pm, with live music at Sudbury McDonald’s during the day.
