Bag stolen

A THIEF stole a handbag after breaking into a car in Bures.

The theft took place between 10.30am and 11.10am on Thursday when someone smashed the passenger window of a lilac Vauxhall Corsa, parked in Nayland Road, between Bures Primary School and Claypits Avenue. After smashing the window, the handbag was taken.

Anyone who witnessed the theft should contact Pc Lucy Rout at Sudbury Police Station on 101.
