Air crash in Nayland

A MAN was taken to hospital after a light aircraft crashed in Nayland this morning.

The 35-year-old passenger suffered a broken leg and wrist as a result of the crash in Campions Hill at around 10.30am.

Emergency services were called to the scene, close to Nayland Airfield, and the East of England Ambulance Service transported the man to Colchester General Hospital.

The pilot, another man, who sustained minor injuries was also taken to hospital.
