BELIEVE it or not, Christmas is in the thoughts of Sudbury Dramatic Society with auditioning for its annual pantomine set to start next week.
The society is staging Cinderella, written especially for it by author Michael Munn, and staged as usual at The Quay Theatre in town.
Open auditions will take place on Monday at 7.30pm at the theatre and anyone interested is welcome to attend.
Publicity officer Linda Dowdall said: “Michael has rewritten this pantomime classic in true traditional style. He says the story of Cinderella never fails to delight audiences of all ages.
“Scripts are currently available for short loan from The Quay Theatre box office and any queries or more information can be had by contacting Clare Lawrance via firstname.lastname@example.org.”
The society is also looking for more backstage volunteers to help with everything from set construction and painting, through to running the lights and sound for its shows.
It puts on six shows a year at The Quay and full training is available.
