A DRAMA society’s new production promises to have audiences rolling in the aisles when it takes to the stage later this month.
Hadleigh Amateur Dramatic Society’s spring production is the comedy play Party Piece, which runs for three nights starting on March 31 at the town hall.
The play by Richard Harris is set in adjoining gardens, as a couple hold a fancy dress house-warming party. During the evening, a string of hilarious disasters strike, including a barbecue with a mind of its own, a marauding zimmer frame and an irate husband on the prowl.
Society member Peter Finch said: “It’s a welcome return for the society to full-length comedy drama and audiences can expect an excellent evening of entertainment.”
The play runs from March 31 to April 2 and starts at 7.30pm each evening. Tickets at £7.50 and £6 are available from the Idler and Walter Wright in the High Street.
