A report into the cause of a plane crash that resulted in the death of a 56-year-old man is not expected until the new year.
Gregory Clipstone was killed when his light aircraft crashed in Aldham, near Hadleigh, last Saturday morning. The experienced pilot, who has six siblings and two children, was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation into the crash was launched by the Air Accident Investigation Branch (AAIB).
“There is an on-going investigation into what happened,” said an AAIB spokeswoman. “These things take time and we have to be thorough.”
She added that the crash report was likely to take a few months to complete.
