I’ll turn around failing market, says revival expert

A struggling farmers’ market is set to relaunch with the help of an area expert and partial funding from the Dedham Vale Development Fund.

Justine Paul, owner of Suffolk Market Events, has agreed to take on the task of saving Nayland Farmers’ Market.

The number of customers and producers attending the market has been steadily declining over the last few years.

But with the help of Justine, who has managed to turn both Lavenham and Sudbury farmers’ markets into thriving monthly events, the few remaining producers hope she can do the same for Nayland.

Justine said: “I love getting my teeth into a farmers’ market.

“I know what needs to be done and I thrive on making that happen.”

The next market will be held in the village hall on November 8 at 9.30am.
