PICK up your paintbrushes and dust off your camera, time is running out to capture Sudbury’s best side, warn organisers of Visions on Show.
The deadline for entries to the annual art exhibition, which celebrates all that we love about the town, is now only five weeks away.
Sudbury Society press officer Anne Grimshaw said: “If you haven’t started yet, there’s still time to get out there painting, drawing and photographing Sudbury.”
Work in all media – from painting and pottery to sketches and needlework – will all be considered, with the meadows, the market and the town’s historical buildings all offering inspiration to past entrants.
There will be a £50 prize for best in show, and the 12 most popular exhibits will feature in a calendar.
Entry forms are available from the town hall, the tourist information centre, Gainsborough’s House shop, Sudbury Library, Goslings in Station Road, Art Framing in North Street and Travel and Leisure Group.
The deadline for entries is September 12, and the exhibition will take place in St Peter’s, from October 10 to 16.
