A history group has asked for photos of a store that was destroyed in the fire in Sudbury on Sunday night.

The Oxfam store in Friars Street, Sudbury was destroyed in the fire that swept through several shops and homes, involving more than 20 fire appliances and 100 firefighters.

Anne Grimshaw from the Sudbury Ephemera Archive, said: “Following the disastrous and tragic fire on Sunday, the Archive is anxious to have photographs of the Oxfam Shop in Friars Street taken between 2000 and 2015.

“The archive already has older photos and would like those taken in more recent times. If you have any such photos please contact Sue – 07846 885909 or contact@sudburyephemera.org.”
