A Hadleigh man is seeking volunteers to help raise money in memory of murdered soldier Lee Rigby.

Fred Breyer, 85, from Ivy Tree Lane, will be collecting donations for Help for Heroes and the Soldiers’, Sailors’ and Airmen’s Families Association at QD Stores, Morrisons and The Co-Op on Saturday, June 29.

Mr Rigby was killed in an attack in Woolwich, London, on May 22. Two men have been charged with his murder.

Mr Breyer, who served in the Army, is asking for anyone wishing to help run the stalls to call him on 01473 829127 or email fredbreyer@fhbreyer.plus.com.
