COLLECTION CALL: St Nicholas Hospice's community fundraiser Ian Norris wants Free Press readers to give just an hour of their time to help with street collections for our Community Nurse Appeal.

VOLUNTEERS are urgently needed to help raise funds for the Free Press’ Community Nurse Appeal.

St Nicholas Hospice Care is holding a street collection day in Sudbury on Saturday, December 10, and is calling for your help as we aim to hit our £10,000 appeal target.

Ian Norris, community fundraiser at the hospice, said: “We are only asking people to come down for one hour.

“It is an instant reminder about the appeal and it is a very easy way for people to make their gift. Volunteers can just make that little bit more difference.”

Mr Norris explained that over 30 willing helpers, who will be supplied with collection boxes, are needed for the day.

Anyone aged 16 and over can volunteer. For more information, email ian.norris@stnh.org.uk or call 01284 715881.
