Sign up to health course

PEOPLE are being invited to sign-up to a free course to help manage their long-term health.

The Chronic Disease Self-Management courses are taking place in Sudbury every Wednesday between February 15 and March 21, and are aimed at people with long-term conditions such as diabetes, heart disease and asthma.

Olive Quinton, NHS Suffolk’s health improvement facilitator, said: “The courses are designed to help people live their lives as well as possible, even though they have a long-term health condition.”

Each session will be taken by a trained tutor and will last two-and-a-half hours.

Anyone interested in joining should call 0800 988 5550.
