A LONG Melford woman has organised a sponsored four-mile pram push.
Andy Edgecombe will lead a group of parents from Grantchester to Cambridge on Sunday to raise money for research into obstetric cholestasis, a genetic liver condition that can cause stillbirth.
Mrs Edgecombe lost her first child to the condition and her daughter has also suffered with OC.
“The symptoms are itching on your hands and feet, and it’s worse at night,” said Mrs Edgecombe. “It’s a pretty awful thing and we are just trying to raise a bit of money.”
