AN annual walking festival catering for everyone from keen ramblers to the walk-shy is due to kick off its fourth season next month.
The launch of the annual South and Heart of Suffolk Walking Festival will take place at Alder Carr Farm on May 14 at 10am.
The festival, which runs until June 5, will feature 31 guided walks in a variety of locations to suit different tastes and fitness levels.
Karina Coghlin, Babergh’s tourism and arts manager, said: “The region, with its softly undulating landscapes, pretty villages and magnificent cultural heritage, is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the fresh air while exploring its countryside on foot.”
The walks are organised by Babergh and Mid Suffolk district councils, and range from £2 to £20 per person with refreshments available.
