Be a lifesaver

YOU could be a lifesaver this winter as blood donor sessions take place across the area.

Anyone aged between 17 and 65, weighing more than seven stone 12lbs and in good health could be eligible.

A mobile unit will be at Long Melford Village Hall car park on Monday and at Layham Road sports ground in Hadleigh on Tuesday.

Sessions are available between 1pm and 7pm, by appointment only, available by calling 03001 232323.

Sudbury’s Masonic Hall hosts a session on Wednesday from 1pm to 7pm, then on October 24, Great Cornard’s Stevenson Centre will be open from 1.15pm to 7pm, with neither date requiring an appointment.
