The headline acts for this year’s LeeStock festival will be announced on Friday during a launch event complete with live performances.
Now in its sixth year, the festival has raised nearly £40,000 for The Willow Foundation in memory of Lee Dunford, a Sudbury musician who died from cancer aged 21 in 2006.
Three acoustic acts, including Mr Dunford’s former bandmate Andrew Heller, will perform at The White Horse in North Street, Sudbury, on Friday from 7pm and the headline act for the main event at Melford Hall on May 25 and 26 will be revealed.
Andy Piper, owner of The White Horse which is hosting the launch night, said: “It was a real honour to be part of the LeeStock festival last year and a pleasure to see a small musical celebration a few years back grow into a huge festival this May.
“The launch night will be the real start of LeeStock, and the real size and spectacle will be revealed.”
Last year’s event featured Wheatus and D:Ream alongside several local acts.
Tickets are now on sale for £30 and are available from The White Horse or at www.leestock.org.
