Discussions are due to take place tomorrow on the future plans for Belle Vue House in Sudbury.
Town councillors and officers from Babergh District Council will meet at the Victorian building in Newton Road to look at potential redevelopment options.
The district council, which owns the building, has allocated £800,000 from its budget over the next two years for the refurbishment or replacement of the house.
One of the ideas likely to be raised involves turning part of the building into a wedding venue.
Sudbury town councillors have said they would like a public consultation to take place regarding the future use of the building, which currently houses the Citzens’ Advice Bureau, The Hub youth club, the 12Plus student service and Education Other Than At School.
