A rabbit rescue charity is looking for a cute rabbit to become its “face” of fundraising to mark its third birthday.
Odie’s Warren for Rabbits wants bunny owners in the area to send them photos of their pets and a brief explanation as to why they should be the face of Odie’s Warren.
The winner will feature on the charity’s fundraising board, which is taken to various events to raise money for the upkeep of the 30 or so rabbits currently at Odie’s, some of which are waiting to be rehomed.
There will be first, second and third prizes, including portraits of your bunny.
Emily and Christian Hauth run Odie’s from their home in Second Avenue, Sudbury.
Emily said: “We are looking for the cutest bunny to be the face of Odie’s.
“People can send us their photos or upload them to our fan page on Facebook and we’ll pick a winner.”
The competition coincides with the charity’s third birthday and there are plans for a party on October 1 to raise funds.
Emily said: “We’re having a party and open day to raise money and so people can meet the rabbits and have fun.”
The party will include a raffle, cakes, lucky dip and more. There is an entrance donation of £1.
