Regular historical events at Kentwell Hall in Long Melford have helped raise £3,723 for St Nicholas Hospice Care.
Money raised by the hall’s Tudor re-enactment events and the sale of hand-made goods was presented to hospice community fundraiser Jordan Hughes last week.
Judith Phillips, who owns the hall with husband Patrick, said: “We support the hospice as much as we can and like to give it some money every year.
“We put little bits aside now and then and also hold some events specifically to raise money for the hospice.”
Mr Hughes said he was “astounded” by the figure raised.
