Staff from a Sudbury salon took up the challenge of raising money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer in October and have now raised £1,160.

Jess Harman and her colleagues at Fatal Attraction, in North Street, baked cakes, sold drinks and even waxed senior stylist Craig Clark’s chest to support a campaign by hair styling company GHD.

“Everyone really pulled together and did so well,” said Jess, 17, from Schoolfield, Glemsford. “All the clients were amazing too.”

Fundraising continues until November 16. Anyone interested in helping should call the salon on 01787 310031.
