Sudbury charity Odie’s Warren for Rabbits received a welcome boost on Thursday in the shape of a £500 grant.

The money, which was given by Support Adoption For Pets – the charity established and supported by Pets at Home – was presented to Christian Hauth, who runs Odie’s Warren with his wife Emily from their home in Second Avenue.

“The money will be used for some big new hutches for the rabbits, as well as doing up the run that they take their exercise in,” said Mrs Hauth.

The charity has 38 rabbits, which all need rehoming or supporting through sponsorship. For more information, call 07787 503892 or go to www.odieswarrenforrabbits.co.uk.
