Veteran members of a golf club have raised £5,418 to buy a Sudbury special school new outdoors play equipment.

The members of Stoke-by-Nayland Golf Club presented a cheque to Hillside Special School headteacher Sue Upson who has used the money to assist with the replacement of part of their playground climbing frames.

The school is for pupils with severe, profound or multiple learning difficulties ranging from two and half to 19 years old.
