Two joiners, who together have almost 25 years experience in the industry, have combined forces to start their own business.
Craig Green and Scott Grimwood started trading under the joint enterprise Precision Made Joinery Limited from their headquarters at Woodhall Business Park in Sudbury last month.
The pair followed their ambition of launching their own company after working closely together as joiners for two local firms.
Craig said business was going well since they began trading four weeks ago.
“The last couple of months have been a whirlwind of activity but it also made us realise we are doing the right thing,” he said.
“We have a reputation for attention to detail with every aspect of joinery covered.”
Though based in Sudbury, the duo, who both live in Glemsford, are attracting a clientele from across East Anglia.
“We have already received a number of orders and requests to quote for work that include everything from individual sash windows and custom-made storage solutions through to bespoke kitchens and staircases,” said Craig.
“A number of previous clients have already contacted us, including one of our previous employers.
“We very much hope this will continue.”
