Woodhall Primary School pupils Danielle-Amy Bland, 10, Felicity Villalgordo, nine, and Jessie Mcloughlin, 10, have raised more than £200 for charity.

The girls, who are all Year 5 pupils at the school in Mayflower Way, Sudbury, decided to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

They held a summer fete after school on Friday with stalls selling items that had been donated by firms including Tanswell Cakes, Ocean Wave, NYC Nails, Ian the bike man, and Roys, Sainsbury’s and Tesco.

Mum Zara Bland said: “The girls did very well and the fete was very well attended. They raised £207.”
