Girl injured on walk

PARAMEDICS treated a 12-year-old girl for her injuries after she became trapped in barbed wire during a walk.

The youngster was walking along a footpath by the River Stour, near The Croft in Sudbury, when she was caught in the barbed wire at around 1pm on Friday, October 28.

A rapid response team was dispatched by the ambulance service, but the girl only suffered minor cuts and did not require hospital treatment.
