It was full steam ahead for a weekend of vintage indulgance at Melford Hall.
Scores of people turned out for a vintage rally on Saturday and Sunday, and attendance figures were helped by a good dose of sunny weather.
Organised by the Farm Machinery Preservation Society, the annual event attracts crowds from all over the region, and more from further afield in the UK, as it’s a long-established event in the calendar of vintage rallies around the country.
Enthusiasts got the chance to get close up to old machinery, and watch machines from a bygone era being driven around - including steam engines.
With the setting of the historic Long Melford stately home as its backdrop, the rally included a display of vintage caravans this year.
The Society is donating some of its proceeds from the event to the charity it supports, Macmillan Cancer Support and Macmillan nurses.
