A DAY of footballing fun will take place in Long Melford tomorrow.
The event, being run to raise money for St Nicholas Hospice Care, will see players from a number of football clubs in the area including, Long Melford FC and Hadleigh United, pulling on their boots for a charity match.
Former Melford player Dan Bull said: “The match will be over 25s against under 25s so it is going to be very competitive and both sides will be very determined to win.
“It will be a good game of football so everyone watching will be entertained and all the players are really happy to be involved because it’s raising money for charity.”
The match will kick off at 2pm at Stoneylands Stadium in New Road, with a raffle also being held.
Spectators will be asked to make a donation and it is hoped more than £500 will be raised from the event.
