Guinness World Records has accepted an application for a record attempt of the fastest time to fillet a salmon at the Taste of Sudbury Food and Drink Festival on June 14.
Nick Barrett, of Scutchers of Long Melford, will go up against Mark David, of The Cooking Experience, to see who is the fastest.
The food festival will take place on Market Hill and in St Peter’s, promoting local restaurants, eateries and food producers, with a diverse range of food available to try and buy on the day.
There will be demonstrations on stage throughout and, this year, there will also be demonstrations inside the church.
The event is free to attend and there will be a free park and ride from Delphi car park.
