MUSICIANS of all ages looked to rival Mozart and the Military Wives choir during Sudbury Festival of Performing Arts.
The music section of the festival, which is now in its 90th year, ran from Tuesday to Sunday, with hundreds of performers taking part in singing, piano, guitar and violin categories.
Competitors, some as young as seven, entertained audiences at the Delphi Club and Friars Hall before receiving advice and marks from judges.
Janet Penfold, one of the organisers of the event, said: “The performances were very tuneful and entertaining and all those involved reached a very high standard.”
Mrs Penfold said adjudicators at the festival had congratulated the town on the event and for giving so many people a chance to showcase their musical ability.
“The whole music section was very impressive,” she added.
